The opportunities within those areas can include the most prominent component (e.g., in the solar energy area, the manufacture of the solar panels), or merely a cog in the much larger wheel (e.g., the brackets needed to attach the solar panels to the roof).
Medical technologies include primarily equipment that detects health issues at the earliest possible stage, as well as equipment that facilitates and improves patient recovery.
Financial services include finance and lease companies and community banks.
Entertainment is primarily focused in the music arena and is directed at identifying, managing, and marketing new talent.
Internet technologies include web-based 2.0 applications and SaaS (software as a solution) applications for diverse industries.
