Pamela H. Halverson (age 48). Ms. Halverson (B.S.) joined Sentry in April of 2000 as the Assistant to the Executive Management Team. In this capacity, Ms. Halverson is responsible for special projects relating to finance programs and strategic initiatives. She is also responsible for management of the corporate office.
Prior to joining Sentry, Ms. Halverson was the Director of the North Salt Lake KinderCare in which she received many accolades for outstanding growth in enrollment and, more importantly, excellent quality of care for children ages 12 and younger. She relished her role as a child advocate and worked closely with state childcare officials. She developed strong organization and administrative skills; including developing and implementing internal procedures, event planning, and maintaining and reporting center and industry statistics.
Ms. Halverson began her career with Granada, Inc., as the Retirement Portfolio Manager, where she managed hundreds of retirement accounts, as well as the company owned real estate transactions. She was responsible for monitoring and reporting on the investment portfolio.
Ms. Halverson obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Finance and a minor in Accounting from Brigham Young University in 1986.
Ms. Halverson has enjoyed working with charitable organizations such as the MDA, Festival of the Trees, The Road Home, and the Utah Food Bank.
Ms. Halverson and her husband Marty have two children which occupy a great deal of their time. In her spare time, Ms. Halverson enjoys reading, gardening, and thinking up home projects.
