Prior to joining Sentry, for over twenty years Mr. Marsh was employed by Olympus Bank, a full service community bank headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah (which was acquired in 1995 by Washington Mutual).  At the end of his term at Olympus, Mr. Marsh held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer and was a member of the Board of Directors.

In addition, Mr. Marsh was Chairman of the bank’s Senior Credit Committee and Executive Management Committee, and was a member of the Asset/Liability Committee.  Prior to his appointment in 1993 as President, Mr. Marsh served the bank in various positions, including Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer (in which latter position he was responsible for the overall credit quality of the bank’s portfolio, the lending programs offered by the bank, and the bank’s loan servicing functions).  Mr. Marsh has an extensive background in credit analysis, multi-state commercial real estate lending, and transaction restructuring.
